Not as far as I can tell, though it would be easier if I could talk to him. But it is good to see that life continues despite our troubles. [ And that the land remains untouched by whatever curse has taken the manor. ]

So do I. Don't worry, I have faced far worse than this. When I return, I'll tell you about some of my adventures as a bold young novice. These undead creatures are nothing compared to stumbling upon a gang of ogres arguing over a fresh kill. A hard lesson in thinking on your feet. And the benefits of carrying a big, hard stick.
I only know that it longs for your touch, my love. It's cold enough out here to freeze the balls off a musk ox. I shall need a thorough warming when I return.
