I'll do my utmost to break myself of the habit.

I suppose it was the rather varied responses to my attempt at sharing information. Some raised hackles I understood, some I'd attribute to hastiness or issues of reading comprehension, [ sorry ] but overall — I'd say it's indisputable that the fault lay with me.

I'm learning that this writing-based form of communication can be [ hmm, what's the word, ] touchy. More-so than letters, when you can exchange messages so quickly.

I wouldn't take any bristling too personally. Death is a difficult subject, for most people, whether it's temporary here or not.

Not to mention the fact that most of the guests here have been under constant — or repeated — extreme stress.

But — thank you for indulging me. At the risk of sounding too sentimental, I trusted you to be honest.

So I've heard, what with the rampant cannibalism and murder.

I can't say I'm a fan of being under house arrest, either. Reminds me too much of home.
